No Maintenance is a Los Angeles-based fashion brand and vintage showroom. The brand designs unisex ready-to-wear clothing and accessories that take their cues from classic workwear and vintage garments, then refine them with modern cuts and careful construction.
What No Maintenance makes
The No Maintenance range covers denim, leather and canvas jackets, hoodies, jersey, trousers, footwear and accessories. Each category starts from a familiar archetype, such as the five-pocket jean, the mechanic jacket, the military thermal or the work trouser, and reworks it with distinctive details.
Signature details
Across the collection, No Maintenance pieces share a recognisable design language: the arcuate stitching on back pockets and yokes, NM welt back pockets with buried darts, double rivet hardware that forms the front pleats on its jackets, and side darts that give the Darted Hoodie its boxy, cropped shape.
Where it is made
No Maintenance hoodies and thermals are cut, sewn and garment-dyed in Los Angeles. Its footwear and leather belts are handmade by multi-generational artisans in the Marche region of Italy. The denim range uses organic cotton and Japanese selvedge fabrics, and the vintage-print T-shirts are printed on one-of-one vintage blanks sourced from the 1970s through the early 2000s, so no two are the same.
Built to last
No Maintenance favours materials that get better with age: raw denim that fades to its wearer, pull-up and vegetable-tanned leathers that develop patina, and heavyweight fabrics that soften without losing their shape. The aim is clothing you keep wearing for years.
